Civil/Earthworks Supervisor

About the role

The Civil/Earthworks Supervisor will lead the direct‑hire civil works at the Eva Copper Process Plant in Cloncurry, Queensland. Reporting to the project management team, you will ensure that all construction activities meet the project’s safety, quality, schedule and regulatory requirements while supporting a FIFO roster.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce compliance of direct‑hire crews and subcontractors against drawings, specifications, standards and ES&H plans.
• Coordinate installation contractors, track project status, manage schedules, control costs and handle change orders.
• Liaise with engineers, clients and other stakeholders on earthworks and foundation activities.
• Maintain continuous work fronts by reviewing look‑ahead schedules, commodity and resource charts, engineering deliverables and material delivery plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising civil and earthworks projects, preferably in mining or large‑scale infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of ES&H regulations, quality standards and construction codes.
• Ability to work on a FIFO 2:1 roster and adapt to remote site conditions.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with contractors, engineers and clients.
