Civil Supervisor – Renewable Energy Project

About the role

Join Zenith Energy’s multidisciplinary team delivering a 532 MW hybrid renewable power system for Northern Star Resources near Kalgoorlie. As a Civil Supervisor you will lead the day‑to‑day execution of civil works, ensuring safety, schedule adherence and quality on this technically complex, large‑scale project.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise earthworks, concrete works, structural foundations, underground services, drainage and road construction.
• Coordinate labour, equipment and material to meet construction milestones.
• Promote a strong safety culture through pre‑start meetings, toolbox talks and compliance with Zenith’s HSE systems.
• Monitor quality against engineering drawings, specifications and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Collaborate with Project Engineers, Construction Managers, client representatives and other discipline supervisors.
• Identify site issues, manage risks and implement practical solutions.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, documentation and progress updates.
• Mentor site personnel, drive accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Trade qualification or tertiary degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience supervising civil construction on remote mine sites.
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction standards, methodologies and HSE systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent planning, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Current Construction White Card, Driver’s Licence and relevant HSE training (First Aid, Working at Heights, Confined Space).
