Civil Leading Hand – FRP (Gladstone, QLD)

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Leading Hand for FRP‑based projects in Gladstone, Queensland. The role involves leading onsite structural concrete works on high‑voltage infrastructure and renewable energy projects, working on a 10/4 roster.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities for piling, formwork, reinforcement, cast‑in items and concrete pours.
• Lead and mentor a crew to deliver high‑quality civil works safely and on schedule.
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications to guide onsite execution.
• Collaborate with supervisors, project teams and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality and productivity standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Civil Leading Hand on structural concrete or civil construction projects.
• Trade qualification in Carpentry or a related building trade.
• Demonstrated ability to lead crews and manage onsite civil works.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and productivity.
• Current machinery tickets.
