Civil Foreman (Earthworks & Roadworks)

About the role

The Civil Foreman – Earthworks & Roadworks will lead and coordinate civil construction activities on renewable energy and infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Civil Superintendent/Construction Manager, you will provide frontline leadership to crews, plant operators and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily civil construction activities including bulk earthworks, cut/fill, roadworks, drainage, hardstands and site preparation.
• Manage civil crews, plant operators, subcontractors and resources to achieve safe and efficient project delivery.
• Plan and coordinate work fronts, monitor productivity, identify constraints and implement practical solutions.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, quality requirements, environmental controls and schedules.
• Maintain strong safety, quality and reporting standards and support successful project handover.

Required profile

• 10+ years’ experience in civil construction, earthworks or major infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience as a Civil Foreman, Leading Hand or Supervisor managing crews and construction activities.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver bulk earthworks, cut/fill, road construction, drainage and site preparation works.
• Capability to interpret civil drawings, specifications and survey information and coordinate delivery with project teams.
• Construction White Card and a current driver’s licence are required.
