About the role

Join Bailey Nelson for a seasonal 3‑month contract as a Christmas Casual Optical Assistant in State Buildings, Perth. You will help customers through their eyecare journey during the busiest period of the year.

Key responsibilities

• Guide customers with frame recommendations, styling advice and vision solutions.
• Assist with optical needs, ensuring a warm and engaging store experience.
• Maintain high energy on the floor, supporting store results and operational standards.
• Collaborate with fellow assistants, store leaders and optometrists to keep peak trading running smoothly.

Required profile

• Full availability from early November 2026 to end of January 2027, including weekends and extra weekday shifts.
• Customer‑first mindset with prior experience in retail, hospitality or a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Reliable time‑management and teamwork skills.
