Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – International Scale‑Up

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑savvy Chief Financial Officer to join a founder‑led consumer business that is expanding globally. Reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, you will blend strategic influence with hands‑on operational leadership to drive financial performance and build the finance infrastructure needed for international growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute financial strategy, commercial planning and performance visibility across the organisation.
• Translate growth initiatives into profitable outcomes, managing cashflow, unit economics and margin.
• Optimise channel performance across ecommerce, marketplace and wholesale operations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and investment prioritisation processes.
• Improve inventory, margin and working‑capital efficiency.
• Build scalable reporting, systems and data capabilities to support global expansion.
• Partner with leadership on expansion strategy for North America, Europe and Asia.
• Deliver high‑quality Board reporting and strategic insight.
• Support investor engagement, governance and value‑creation initiatives with private‑equity stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven finance leadership experience in a consumer‑facing, product‑driven or digitally enabled business.
• Background in ecommerce, retail, consumer products, industrial or omnichannel environments.
• Demonstrated ability to support international growth and operational scaling.
• Strong commercial acumen across pricing, channels, margin and profitability.
• Deep expertise in cashflow management, inventory and working‑capital optimisation.
• Comfort operating in fast‑moving, founder‑led organisations.
• Experience engaging with Boards, investors and/or private‑equity stakeholders.
