About the role
Pullman Sydney Hyde Park, a 241-room Premium Hotel by Accor, is looking for a Chef de Partie. Reporting to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, the role sits in a kitchen serving a mix of corporate and leisure guests, and takes part in events such as Mardi Gras. Candidates must have full work rights and live in Sydney at the time of application.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, present and display all menu items.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment and equipment.
- Develop and coach junior chefs, giving them learning opportunities and access to your experience and knowledge.
- Work alongside the Executive and Sous Chef on menu development and creation.
Required profile
- A commercial cookery qualification.
- Ideally previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a hotel or high-volume venue.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- Team player who can also work autonomously.
