Chef de Partie – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

Join Pullman East Melbourne’s culinary team as a full‑time Chef de Partie. You will create high‑quality dishes that reflect the hotel’s premium standards and delight guests, while adapting to special requests and contributing to memorable dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present food in line with premium hotel standards.
• Supervise, coach and train kitchen team members alongside the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
• Maintain the highest quality and freshness of ingredients and meals.
• Ensure impeccable hygiene and kitchen standards according to HACCP requirements.
• Monitor and control food waste, stock levels and kitchen resources.
• Assist the Executive Chef in leading the kitchen team and fostering a positive culture.

Required profile

• Experienced Chef de Partie in a fast‑paced operation.
• Creative menu development with up‑to‑date knowledge of food trends.
• Natural leadership that builds respect and value among staff.
• Ability to manage a busy section and stay composed under pressure.
• Excellent communication and professional attitude.
• Motivation, energy and drive to exceed expectations.
