Change Manager - Federal Government Services

About the role

The Change Manager manages and governs Change Management activities for Unisys-delivered services within a Federal Government environment. The role ensures that Unisys Requests for Change (RFCs) are raised, assessed, approved, scheduled and implemented in line with the client's requirements, contractual obligations and ITIL best practice. It works closely with technical delivery teams, customer stakeholders and service management functions to minimise risk and maintain service stability.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the Change Management process for Unisys services within the DAFF account.
• Review RFCs for quality, completeness and compliance with customer requirements.
• Validate implementation plans, test plans, risk assessments and backout procedures.
• Classify and schedule changes, monitor the change schedule and identify conflicts, risks or service impacts.
• Coordinate approvals and manage change escalations; keep change records accurate in ServiceNow.
• Ensure compliance with DAFF change governance, support audits and address non-compliant or unauthorised changes.
• Act as the primary contact for change activities, liaising with DAFF ICT Change, service delivery teams and stakeholders.
• Produce regular change reports and metrics, analyse trends and identify improvements.
• Maintain change documentation, procedures and work instructions.
• Collaborate with Incident, Problem and Major Incident Management, and support service reviews, transitions and transformations.

Required profile

• Australian citizen with a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance.
• Change Management experience.
• Analytical, process-oriented, self-motivated and dependable.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
