About the role
Join Sodexo as a Catering Assistant in Wodonga, supporting daily kitchen and catering operations. You will help deliver high‑quality food service while upholding hygiene, food safety, and customer service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, meal assembly and service.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety across all kitchen and service areas.
- Wash, sanitise and organise kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Receive, store and rotate stock while supporting inventory management.
- Support catering events and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
Required profile
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, food service or a commercial kitchen.
- Passion for excellent customer service and teamwork.
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety practices.
- Reliable, organised and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexible with shifts and eager to learn and grow within the catering industry.
