Catering Assistant – Onsite Café Support

About the role
Join Sodexo as a Catering Assistant and help run the onsite café and catering services in Bathurst. You will ensure employees receive high‑quality food and friendly service while supporting a safe and clean kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and present food items according to menu standards.
- Serve customers and operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and service areas.
- Perform dishwashing, general kitchen duties, and stock replenishment.
- Assist the wider catering team with any additional tasks as needed.
Required profile
- Recent experience as a Catering Assistant or in a busy commercial kitchen.
- Ability to communicate confidently with staff, management, and customers.
- Capable of working in a fast‑paced environment and thinking on your feet.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport to the site.
- Legal right to work in Australia.
