Category Analyst (Sydney or Melbourne)

About the role

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners is looking for a commercially minded Category Performance & Insights Analyst in its North Sydney headquarters or Melbourne office. The role turns complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive category growth, supports major customer conversations and influences innovation strategy. It works with senior stakeholders across Category, Commercial, Sales and Brand teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own reporting and performance tracking across category, brand, portfolio and innovation initiatives
• Analyse internal and external market data to identify trends, risks and growth opportunities
• Turn data into recommendations that influence business decisions
• Support category strategies, playbooks and customer-facing narratives
• Strengthen range reviews, Joint Business Plans and customer selling stories
• Track innovation performance and support Post Launch Reviews
• Support range, space and RSVPO analysis
• Work with Category, Sales, Brand, Portfolio and Revenue Growth Management teams to keep a consistent view of performance

Required profile

• Experience in category management, insights, analytics or commercial environments
• Strong analytical capability with large and complex data sets
• Experience using shopper, consumer, sales and market data to generate business insights
• Commercial acumen and understanding of category performance drivers
• Ability to simplify complexity and communicate insights clearly to different audiences

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills and report, dashboard and performance tracking tool building
• Power BI, Tableau or similar business intelligence platforms (desirable)
