Casual Receptionist – One Shift per Week

About the role

Join the San GP Centre at Sydney Adventist Hospital as a casual receptionist. This role provides a single regular shift each week, with additional leave‑cover shifts available, allowing you to be the welcoming first point of contact for patients, doctors and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a professional and caring attitude.
• Manage appointment bookings, telephone enquiries and walk‑in registrations.
• Maintain accurate data entry and update patient records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Support the clinical team with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing and preparing documents.
• Assist with on‑site amenities coordination and direct visitors to hospital services.

Required profile

• Full Australian working rights and availability for weekday shifts.
• Strong customer‑service orientation in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data handling.
• Ability to adapt, work independently and contribute to a respectful team culture.

Required skills

• High level of computer literacy and quick learning of new software systems.
