Casual Production Operator - Coffee Fill & Pack

About the role

Nestlé's Gympie factory produces Australian coffee brands such as NESCAFÉ and International Roast. It is looking for a casual production operator to join its Fill & Pack team, reporting to the Production Line Managers. You will be trained across a variety of production lines, filling and packing coffee products into jars, cans, soft packs and bulk formats.

Key responsibilities

• Work safely and follow all Health & Safety requirements
• Complete quality checks and record results accurately
• Monitor equipment and processes to help identify and prevent potential stoppages
• Follow standardised start-up, line operation and changeover procedures
• Support the team in achieving daily production and site goals
• Undertake manual handling, including stacking finished products
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in the production area
• Carry out other production duties as required

Required profile

• Positive, reliable and team-focused approach
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including manual handling
• Flexible availability for day and/or afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday
• Previous experience in food manufacturing, production or processing is not essential
• A current forklift licence or the ability to obtain one (applicants must be 18 or older)
