About the role
Bailey Nelson is looking for a Casual Optical Assistant to join its Frankston team. The role sits at the heart of the customer experience, helping people find their perfect frames and supporting their eyecare needs. Experience in optical work is not required.
Key responsibilities
- Help customers choose the right frames and support their eyecare needs
- Deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Work flexibly across weekdays and weekends, with full availability during peak trading periods
- Pick up extra shifts throughout the week as needed
Required profile
- Experience in retail, hospitality or a similar field, with a customer-first mindset
- Enthusiasm, a can-do attitude and strong time management
- Problem-solving skills and a results-driven approach
- Team player who builds good relationships
- Flexible availability, including peak times and extra shifts
