Casual Nursing Assistant - Aged Care

About the role

Estia Health is looking for experienced Nursing Assistants with good availability to join its casual roster at Mount Gravatt East. The organisation operates 96 aged care homes across Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria, and wants people who are passionate about aged care.

Key responsibilities

• Help with residents' daily life so they feel heard, comfortable and well fed
• Support residents with challenging needs alongside the team
• Help keep residents' bodies and minds active
• Monitor residents' health and help with treatments
• Act as a friend to residents and respect their privacy and dignity

Required profile

• A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
• Experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
• Solid clinical documentation and computer skills
• Team player and great communicator with a real desire to make a difference
