Care Director - Aged Care Home

About the role

Estia Health is recruiting a Care Director for a contract position ending on 16 October, based in Mt Gravatt East. Reporting to the Residential Aged Care Manager, you will act as second in command and use your clinical background to improve residents' wellbeing. The role covers resident care, staff training, clinic oversight, clinical programs and financial management of the home.

Key responsibilities

• Care for residents and nurture relationships with their families
• Train the next generation of carers and nurses
• Oversee the clinic, from stock to compliance and reporting
• Develop clinical care programs
• Help financially manage the home

Required profile

• Registered nurse with current AHPRA registration
• At least 3 years in a nursing management role at ward level or above
• Experience managing people and budgets
• Aged care background
• Honest, ethical leadership with a desire to learn and challenge yourself
