Casual Front Office All-Rounder

About the role

Hotel Woolstore 1888, a boutique hotel in Pyrmont, Sydney, is looking for a Casual Front Office All-Rounder to join its team. The role covers both Front Office and Food & Beverage, from welcoming guests at reception to supporting the restaurant and bar. It suits someone who enjoys variety, connecting with people and being part of a team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver warm, personalised check-in and check-out experiences.
• Assist guests with enquiries, requests, payments and hotel services.
• Support restaurant and bar operations with attentive, friendly service.
• Help with events, functions and dining experiences across the hotel.
• Share knowledge of the hotel and local area with guests.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally.
• Support wider hotel operations, including phones, emails and occasional porter duties.

Required profile

• Experience in Front Office, Food & Beverage or a similar hospitality role.
• Passion for personalised guest service, confident communication and a friendly manner.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and a flexible, team-focused approach.
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Current RSA certification or willingness to obtain it before starting.

Required skills

• Experience with Opera Cloud or similar hotel systems is advantageous.
