About the role
Show Support is looking for casual event riggers in Southbank, Victoria. This is a temporary position with flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and work across venues nationwide. The company pays weekly plus super, so invoicing is not required.
Required profile
- License and experience in high and ground rigging
- Experience in live events, theatre or production environments
- Good command of English and ability to work in a team
- Able to listen to and follow instructions, and flexible and adaptable to change
Required skills
- Knowledge of rigging hardware such as truss, motors, hoists and slings
- Ability to work at heights with fall protection equipment
- Manual physical work and heavy lifting
- Own rigging equipment (rope, harness, etc.)
- Steel-capped boots, safety vest and hard hat
- Basic hand tools
