Casual Enrolled Nurse – Liverpool & Yagoona

About the role

A not-for-profit disability service provider is looking for Enrolled Nurses to join its team on a casual basis, with opportunities across Liverpool and Yagoona. The role suits people who value flexibility, compassion and confidence, and who enjoy working in a team where no two days are the same.

Key responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed and keep accurate medication records and documentation.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene and daily living tasks, including domestic duties.
• Help customers with mobility and positioning using manual handling techniques and hoist equipment.
• Follow structured routines to keep care consistent.
• Liaise with GPs, registered nurses, allied health professionals and families for coordinated care.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as required.
• Work a 24/7 rotating roster, including overnight, weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• Enrolled Nurse registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical or disability support setting.
• Valid Australian driver's licence and ability to drive a 12-seater or wheelchair-accessible van.

Required skills

• Peg feeding and safe swallowing practices.
• Epilepsy management and acquired brain injury care.
• Oxygen and nebuliser use.
• Bowel care, including enemas and suppositories.
