Registered Nurse – Dialysis (Level 1)

About the role

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (Level 1) to join its dialysis centre in Liverpool, Australia. You will deliver life‑sustaining haemodialysis treatments, build trusted relationships with patients and families, and work alongside a multidisciplinary team using cutting‑edge medical technology.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dialysis treatments, monitor patient progress and ensure safe, patient‑centred care in accordance with APHRA standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS) and report incidents, hazards and quality‑improvement opportunities.
• Participate in clinical, educational and quality activities, and support staff development and patient education.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA as a general nurse and a valid practising certificate.
• Demonstrated competence in nephrology nursing, preferably with experience in a renal/haemodialysis environment.
• Strong communication, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of dialysis treatment processes and renal patient care.
• Proficiency with the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS) and general computer literacy.
