About the role

Join Halls Head Dental as a Casual Dental Receptionist and be the welcoming face of the practice. You will help create a comfortable experience for patients from the moment they walk in, while enjoying flexible hours and a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients with a warm, professional attitude.
• Answer phone calls and respond to enquiries.
• Book, confirm and manage appointments.
• Process payments and health‑fund claims accurately.
• Maintain up‑to‑date patient records.
• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the clinical team.
• Assist in keeping the practice running smoothly and efficiently.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Friendly, positive and professional demeanor.
• Organised and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong computer aptitude and quick to learn new systems.
• Enjoys working as part of a close‑knit team.
• Previous dental or medical reception experience is a plus, but hospitality, retail or other customer‑facing experience is also welcomed.
