Casual Cook - Aged Care

About the role

Estia Health Yarra Valley, an aged care home with mountain views on a quiet residential street near Yarra Junction, is looking for an experienced Cook to join its team on a casual basis. You will help create a home residents love by delivering fresh, wholesome meals that meet individual needs.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management
• Tailor meals to meet individual residents' needs and preferences
• Provide healthy, nutritious and delicious meals
• Support the wider kitchen team in delivering a memorable dining experience

Required profile

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Some experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care experience highly regarded)
• A good range of cuisines and dietary requirements, responding to the social, spiritual and cultural needs of residents
• Great communication and documentation skills
