About the role

Join Stryker as a Casual Clinical Consultant supporting the Trauma portfolio in Launceston, Tasmania. Provide expert clinical assistance during trauma procedures and train healthcare professionals on advanced fixation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert clinical support during trauma surgeries, ensuring surgeons have the right tools and confidence.
• Educate and train staff on Stryker’s advanced plating systems, screws and fixation solutions.
• Act as a trusted partner in the operating theatre, offering technical expertise and service.
• Work flexibly across weekdays, weekends and on‑call shifts to meet hospital needs.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Required profile

• Background in allied health, nursing or similar clinical experience.
• Strong understanding of anatomy and surgical procedures, orthopaedics preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work across multiple hospitals with flexibility for weekends and on‑call duties.

Required skills

• Knowledge of advanced plating systems.
• Experience with screw fixation solutions.
• Understanding of trauma fixation technologies.
