Carpenter - Commercial Projects

About the role

McMahon Services, one of Australia's largest privately owned construction, industrial and environmental services organisations, is seeking a qualified Carpenter for its Adelaide team. This is a hands-on role for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality work across a range of commercial projects, with opportunities for growth and development.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry works across commercial construction projects
• Read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications
• Install, construct and repair structures and fixtures using timber and other materials
• Complete all work to a high standard of quality and safety
• Coordinate with supervisors, trades and subcontractors on site
• Maintain tools, equipment and a clean, organised work environment
• Contribute to a strong safety culture and comply with site requirements
• Identify and communicate issues or improvements on site

Required profile

• Trade-qualified Carpenter with 3-4 years of experience
• Proven experience in commercial carpentry
• Current driver's licence and White Card
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
• Flexibility to travel to regional projects when required
