Cadet Technician/Drafter – Structures (Sydney)

About the role

Join the Structural team in Sydney as a Cadet Technician/Drafter, supporting the design and documentation of building projects. You will work alongside engineers, senior drafters and project managers in a hybrid, flexible environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing schematic and production drawings under supervision.
• Perform general office duties and support senior drafters with task analysis.
• Produce construction‑level documentation and ensure accuracy of print and issuing procedures.
• Manage Vault data and follow data‑management processes.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree program.
• Willingness to learn CAD and Revit technologies.
• Ability to interpret and follow instructions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for a multidisciplinary environment.
• Adaptability to changing situations and full working rights in Australia.
