Business/Commercial Performance Analyst (Contract)

About the role

Troocoo is recruiting a Business/Commercial Performance Analyst on a contract basis in Brisbane's northern suburbs. Reporting to the Business Performance Lead, you will join a team that supports senior leadership as a single, independent source of operational information and analysis, identifying emerging trends early so that appropriate action can be taken.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver operational reporting to support the leadership team.
• Identify and provide insight on cost, productivity and quality trends, with recommendations for corrective action.
• Respond to ad-hoc and complex information requests across multiple systems.
• Develop reporting, analysis and modelling solutions using tools such as Power BI.
• Investigate and resolve data integrity issues, applying quality assurance to all reporting.
• Support leadership in defining and tracking initiative benefits, and in setting KPIs and targets aligned to strategic direction.
• Analyse business processes and operating rhythm to understand drivers of performance.

Required profile

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in business/commercial performance analysis, with demonstrated commercial acumen.
• Ability to turn large volumes of financial data into meaningful insight and corrective action.
• Competent reporting skills; familiarity with financial accounts, reports and methodology is highly regarded.
• Collaborative and consultative approach, able to work independently and within a small team.
• High attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A business or commerce qualification specialising in information management, business, finance, statistics or mathematics is desirable.
