Business Lending Consultant – Small Business Contact Centre

About the role

Join Suncorp Bank’s Small Business Contact Centre in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD as a Business Lending Consultant. You will be the first point of contact for small‑business customers seeking lending solutions, helping them navigate complex financial products with ease.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from existing and prospective business lending customers.
• Conduct outbound follow‑up calls to resolve pending enquiries and gather required information.
• Deliver high‑quality customer experiences while adhering to compliance and risk guidelines.
• Manage complaints within defined timeframes and follow internal policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams across channels to meet customer needs and performance targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in banking customer service or sales (preferred but not mandatory).
• Background in a contact‑centre or operational support environment.
• Strong problem‑solving, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and a compliance‑driven setting.
• Commitment to personal development and continuous learning.

Required skills

• High‑level computer literacy and navigation skills.
