Business Development Representative

About the role

Ausco Modular, a provider of transportable hire and modular construction solutions in Australia, is looking for an experienced Business Development Representative to join its Orana - Dubbo / Bathurst team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role drives growth of the hire business across construction, commercial, industrial and renewable energy sectors, focusing on finding new opportunities, generating quality leads and turning prospects into long-term client partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction, industrial, mining and renewable energy sectors
• Generate and qualify leads through networking, market research, referrals and business development activities
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
• Achieve sales targets by keeping a healthy pipeline and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships
• Use Salesforce to track leads, opportunities and customer interactions
• Attend industry events and conferences to generate leads and build relationships

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience with a track record of building client relationships and driving growth, especially in the renewable energy sector
• Experience engaging customers across construction, industrial and energy markets
• Preferred: experience working within or selling into the renewable energy sector, including knowledge of industry projects, stakeholders and market drivers
• Demonstrated success in lead generation, prospecting and securing new business
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Collaborative and adaptable, able to work across teams
• Right to live and work in Australia
