Business Development Manager – Sydney metro

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑savvy Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives with our strategic state‑based customers across the Sydney metropolitan area. This permanent, full‑time position will combine customer leadership, commercial strategy and negotiation expertise to unlock new opportunities and strengthen partnerships for Coca‑Cola Europacific Partners.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations, tenders and commercial agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
• Develop and execute joint business plans that drive sustainable portfolio growth.
• Identify new sales opportunities using market, category and customer insights.
• Partner with field teams to implement customer plans, range reviews, promotional activities and category initiatives.
• Analyse performance data to uncover growth opportunities and influence decision‑making.
• Collaborate across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, RGM and Strategy functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large customer relationships in FMCG or related sectors.
• Strong sales, negotiation and influencing capabilities.
• Commercial acumen with ability to balance growth and profitability.
• Experience developing strategic customer plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Energetic, resilient and solutions‑focused mindset.
