Business Development Manager – Queensland

About the role

The Business Development Manager will join the Queensland Field Team, reporting to the State Manager. You will drive growth and profitability by identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities across construction, industrial and mining sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver business development plans that create demand, increase sales and improve profitability across priority segments and customers.
• Identify, assess and prioritise new opportunities, trades, applications and customer insights to shape growth actions and forecasts.
• Develop and execute strategies to win new customers, expand key accounts and strengthen market position.
• Maintain strong engagement with top end‑users and stakeholders, using market insights to tailor commercial approaches.
• Manage pipeline, convert opportunities and drive margin improvement through directional selling and category growth.

Required profile

• Proven business development experience, preferably in construction, industrial or mining.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑relationship skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable working in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sales technology platforms such as Salesforce and SharePoint.
• Analytical mindset focused on margin expansion and pipeline management.
