Business Development Manager - Mining

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to expand our engineered mechanical piping solutions within Western Australia’s mining and resources sector. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will drive new business, influence project specifications, and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders across mine sites, EPCM firms, contractors, and asset owners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the WA mining market.
• Build and maintain relationships with mining companies, engineering consultancies, EPCM firms, contractors, and distributors.
• Promote specification and adoption of engineered piping solutions on new projects and asset upgrades.
• Create strategic account plans for key customers and major projects.
• Conduct site visits, presentations, and technical discussions with stakeholders.
• Monitor market activity, competitor movements, and upcoming project opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal technical and project teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven success in business development or technical sales within the mining industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of generating new business.
• Established relationships within the WA mining and resources sector.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and results‑oriented.

Required skills

• Knowledge of engineered mechanical piping solutions.
• Experience with fluid handling, piping, valves and pumps.
