About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with prospects and existing clients, and collaborating with senior leadership on strategy. Based primarily in the office, the role includes regular travel to meet clients and attend industry events, with flexible working hours to support business needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the mining, construction and oil & gas sectors.
  • Generate leads, prospect, and nurture relationships to expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with executives to shape and execute business strategies.
  • Negotiate and close deals to meet revenue targets.
  • Attend industry events and travel to client sites as required.

Required profile

  • Self‑motivated, proactive and results‑oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning and problem‑solving skills.
