About the role

The Business Development Manager will be the front‑face of Lucy Electric, responsible for creating and executing an effective sales strategy to drive sustainable financial growth across Australia.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and implement dedicated plans for existing and new customers in line with the Medium‑Term strategic plan.
  • Gather sales data, identify target markets, and set sales growth targets.
  • Coordinate promotional activities, product demonstrations, and trial orders with major customers.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, update CRM, and report regularly on plans and activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful business outcomes.

Required profile

  • 3‑5 years of commercial and technical sales experience in secondary and primary switchgear markets.
  • Proven experience working with Australian utilities, contractors, consultants and EPCs.
  • Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contract law.
  • Ability to work independently, manage pressure and multitask.

Required skills

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or similar CRM system)
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Fluency in English
