Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive accommodation, corporate, group and conferencing revenue for lyf Elizabeth Melbourne and support sales across both lyf properties in Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets and increase market share.
• Drive corporate, accommodation, group, conferencing and event business while identifying new opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, event organisers and industry partners.
• Conduct site inspections, attend industry events and collaborate with property, revenue, marketing and cluster sales teams to achieve commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, hotel sales or account management within hospitality, accommodation, conferencing or events.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline and convert opportunities into business.
• Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
• Proactive, organised and results‑focused with the ability to collaborate across multiple properties and departments.
