Business Development Manager

About the role

Join a well‑established organisation that supplies engineered pumps, spare parts and fluid‑handling solutions to the mining, wastewater and broader industrial sectors across Western Australia. The Business Development Manager will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure, and will help expand market share in a highly relationship‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities with operators, EPCM firms and tier‑two contractors in the industrial and mining sectors.
• Conduct consultative, solutions‑based selling to match site‑specific challenges with tailored pumping and fluid‑handling solutions.
• Manage the end‑to‑end business development process, including prospecting, networking, tendering and closing deals.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and long‑term partnerships.

Required profile

• Proven experience with pumps or rotating equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business in competitive, remote regions of Western Australia.
• Existing professional network within mining, wastewater or general industrial environments.

What we offer

• Base salary $130,000‑$135,000 per year plus superannuation.
• Car allowance or leased vehicle.
• Commission structure up to 25% of base salary.
• Territory covering local and remote industrial and mining sites.
