Business Development Manager – Experience Studio APAC

About the role

Amex GBT is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Experience Studio in the APAC region. Reporting to the Global Director of Sales, you will drive new business and expand the portfolio of services across corporate live events.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, manage and close prospects in the Australia/APAC corporate events market.
• Promote the full Experience Studio portfolio, including sourcing, event management, group travel and creative production.
• Lead cross‑selling initiatives with Strategic Meeting and Business Travel clients.
• Conduct proactive outreach, maintain high prospecting activity, and build senior‑level relationships.
• Own RFI/RFP processes as bid captain, handling pricing, negotiations, proposals and contracts.

Required profile

• Graduate with at least 2 years of successful business development experience, preferably in event production.
• Proven track record in sales negotiations, new‑business generation and closing within the corporate events marketplace.
• Strong influencing and networking abilities with C‑level and senior stakeholders.
• Fluent in Business English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Independent, target‑driven and comfortable working virtually.
