Business Development Manager, Commercial Plumbing

About the role

A full-time Business Development Manager position in Melbourne with a commercial plumbing supplier, which is the commercial projects arm of a market leader. It sells front-of-wall products and appliances from leading brands directly to plumbers, with a focus on multi-residential projects. The goal is to get the product on the job early and keep it there through to installation.

Key responsibilities

• Sell directly to plumbers of every tier, from large commercial contractors to smaller operators, as well as builders and developers on commercial and multi-residential projects.
• Focus on multi-residential work, getting the product on site early and keeping it there until installation.

Required profile

• Plumbing merchant or reseller background, with knowledge of the trade from the supply side.
• Track record of hitting targets; the role suits someone driven by results.
• Already knows the plumbers and builders in the Melbourne multi-res market, or knows exactly how to reach them.
• Understands how plumbing is sold on multi-residential jobs and who makes the final decision.
