Business Development Consultant

About the role

Connect Resources is a leading labour‑hire provider for civil construction projects across WA, NSW, QLD and beyond. The Business Development Consultant will work closely with the General Manager to build and nurture client relationships, map talent for upcoming assignments, and expand the company’s network within the construction sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and map talent for future civil construction assignments.
• Maintain regular communication with contractors, clients, and candidates.
• Develop a referral‑based network of contacts to support business growth.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to learn and apply proven business development strategies.
• Contribute new ideas to the team and support collective success.
• Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and client recruitment needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience on a construction site, in a civil construction office, or a relevant degree/TAFE qualification (e.g., Business, Marketing, Construction).
• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in connecting with people.
• Eagerness to learn the civil construction industry in depth.
