Bus Driver

About the role

An opportunity exists to join a committed Christian team as a bus driver at Brightwaters Christian College. This part‑time position (28 hours per fortnight) operates during school term times, before and after school, with a casual option available.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes.
• Foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere and build strong relationships with students.
• Adhere to the allocated schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient service.
• Maintain a clean and tidy bus interior for a comfortable environment.
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations while operating the bus.
• Safely load and unload students at designated stops, ensuring their well‑being.

Required profile

• A genuine person with a passion for working with children.
• Reliability and punctuality to ensure timely transportation.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s licence (or willingness to obtain an MR driver’s licence, costs covered by the college).
• Excellent driving record and commitment to passenger safety.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
