Building Services Lead

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Building Services Lead to head its Queensland Building Services team in Brisbane. The role combines technical leadership, people management, and delivery of complex multidisciplinary projects across building, transport, defence and infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of engineers, designers and drafters.
• Plan, coordinate and manage engineering work packages to meet scope, budget and schedule.
• Prepare, review and verify designs, calculations, reports and technical specifications.
• Manage project and proposal budgets and coordinate key stakeholders including clients, regulators and suppliers.
• Support business development, proposals and client engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in a consulting or project delivery environment.
• Strong project management and delivery background on major multidisciplinary projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Chartered Engineer status (CPEng, RPEQ) or willingness to obtain within six months.
