Branch / Sales Manager - Townsville

About the role

Elders is looking for a Branch / Sales Manager to lead its Townsville and Ingham teams on a permanent, full-time basis. The branch serves a diverse customer base, including sugar cane and horticulture, broad acre farming and large pastoral operations. As Branch Manager you will manage all aspects of branch operations and lead a large team in delivering excellent service to customers in the Townsville / Ingham area.

Key responsibilities

• Inspire and motivate your team to maximise their potential
• Ensure best management inventory controls are followed
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and give personalised recommendations
• Cultivate new sales opportunities and drive the marketing and promotion of all Elders products
• Prioritise the safety of staff and clients and contribute to the zero-harm culture
• Coach and mentor staff in identifying and developing new sales opportunities

Required profile

• Proven track record in sales management with an understanding of agricultural services
• Comfortable in a collaborative and agile working environment
• Resourceful, forward-thinking and passionate about real change for clients and the community
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• A tertiary qualification is not essential, but sound financial knowledge and strong business acumen are required
