Boilermakers and Riggers – Join Major NSW Projects

About the role

Alfabs Engineering is seeking qualified Boilermakers and Riggers/Crane Operators to work on high‑impact infrastructure, rail, mining and energy projects across New South Wales. The positions are available on a permanent or casual basis, based in a Hunter‑region workshop with travel to sites as required.

Required profile

• Trade Certificate or Certificate of Proficiency for Boilermakers
• Relevant high‑risk rigging or crane‑operator qualifications
• Valid WHS Construction card and Working at Heights certification
• Driver’s licence and ability to transport yourself to sites
• Ability to pass pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as project demands dictate

Required skills

• Welding (including ability to pass welding qualifications)
• Drawing interpretation and project scope understanding
• Rigging techniques and crane operation
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to WHS standards
