Protech is recruiting a qualified Boilermaker for its Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal site. The role suits someone looking for stable, ongoing work with upskilling opportunities and shutdown experience. It is a full-time position, with the option to choose a casual arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Fabrication and repair of steel structures
• Modifications to infrastructure
• Installation and maintenance of access systems

Required profile

• Trade qualification in fabrication/engineering
• Shutdown experience (highly regarded)
• White Card (general construction induction)
• Working at heights
• Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card through a criminal history background check
• Current driver's licence
• Full Australian working rights
• Resides locally; accommodation is not provided

Required skills

• Desirable: Confined space and gas test atmospheres
