BMW Technician – Service Workshop

About the role

We are seeking a skilled BMW Technician to join our service team at Canterbury BMW in Sydney. The role involves diagnosing, maintaining and repairing BMW vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify mechanical or electrical faults.
• Carry out diagnostics using modern tools and service software.
• Execute scheduled services, repairs and component replacements on BMW, BMW i and BMW M models.
• Document all work accurately in service records.
• Collaborate with service advisors and parts staff to provide technical information.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop environment and adhere to safety and compliance procedures.
• Participate in ongoing technical training to stay current with BMW technologies.

Required profile

• Relevant automotive trade qualification or completed apprenticeship.
• Experience with premium or European vehicle brands, preferably in a dealership setting.
• Current valid driver’s licence.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
