Blue Collar Roles – Expression of Interest for LGC Rail Project

About the role

ACCIONA, together with its partners, is seeking expressions of interest for a range of blue‑collar positions on the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) Project. The work will involve construction, rail upgrades and related civil works across sites between southern Brisbane suburbs and Beenleigh.

Key responsibilities

• Perform trade‑specific tasks such as carpentry, formwork, concrete finishing, rigging, plant operation and general labour.
• Support rail‑related activities including safe working roles, level‑crossing removals and station upgrades.

Required profile

• Hold all relevant and valid qualifications and licences for the chosen trade.
• Current Australian driver licence and Construction (White/Blue) Card.
• Ability to pass medical/functional assessment, including drug and alcohol screening.

Required skills

• Trade‑specific skills (carpentry, formwork, concreting, rigging, plant operation, trades assistance).
• Understanding of rail safety requirements and Queensland Rail entry procedures.
