BIM Modeller and Coordinator

About the role

A large, well-established national electro-technology company with a varied portfolio of national major projects (commercial, defence, health, education, industrial) is looking for a BIM Specialist to join a close-knit team. The projects include data centres, hospitals, universities, airports and commercial and defence projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop BIM models to produce 2D drawings and images needed for presentations and project submissions
• Develop BIM models to help identify clashes with other trades
• Build and strengthen relationships with key project stakeholders

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification combined with practical experience on large-scale construction projects and a proven track record in MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing)
• BIM experience in electrical, mechanical and/or plumbing; electrical BIM experience is preferred but candidates from architectural backgrounds with commercial (not solely residential) projects or structural/mechanical Revit experience are also considered

• Revit, including building and modelling families
• BIM in one or more of electrical, mechanical and plumbing
