Bid & Pursuits Consultant

About the role

TSA Riley is looking for an experienced, commercially minded Bid & Pursuits Consultant to join its Melbourne team, part of the national Marketing & Pursuits function. The role reports to the Pursuits Manager based in NSW and leads the end-to-end pursuit process on strategic opportunities, from qualification and bid strategy through to submission delivery. It involves working with senior leaders and technical specialists to build high-quality submissions, shaping win themes, executive summaries and bid strategies, and facilitating workshops. The arrangement is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic pursuits and manage end-to-end bid delivery
• Develop compelling proposal content aligned to client needs and the company's value proposition
• Facilitate bid workshops and contribute to pursuit strategy development
• Drive quality assurance so submissions meet brand and compliance requirements
• Support Go/No-Go processes and provide commercial insight into opportunities
• Build relationships with technical teams and business leaders nationally
• Share best practice and support account management planning and business development initiatives

Required profile

• 4-6+ years' experience in pursuits, bids or proposal management in property, infrastructure, professional services or related sectors
• Demonstrated experience managing the full bid lifecycle, including qualification, planning, writing, coordination and submission delivery
• Strong bid writing capability, including executive summaries, win themes and strategic messaging
• Excellent stakeholder management and attention to detail
• Pursuits or bids training or accreditation is highly regarded
