Bid Manager – Major Projects

About the role

We’re looking for a Major Projects Bid Manager to join our high‑performing Major Projects team. This national role supports major projects across Australia and New Zealand and can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full bid lifecycle from opportunity qualification to contract award, developing value propositions and strategy.
• Coordinate bid teams across sales, engineering, finance, legal and operations to produce competitive, compliant proposals.
• Prepare and review commercial aspects, manage risk tracking, and ensure accurate bid budgets and cost plans.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑bid reviews, manage Go/No‑Go decisions and facilitate seamless hand‑over to project execution.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, drive profitability and enhance customer loyalty.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in bid management within the construction industry, preferably vertical transport.
• Proven track record of winning multi‑million‑dollar projects and strong commercial, cost‑planning and risk‑management skills.
• Ability to engage executive‑level stakeholders and lead diverse, cross‑functional teams.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable.
