Delivery Operations Manager

About the role

KONE, a global elevator, escalator and building access solutions company, is looking for an experienced Delivery Operations Manager based in Mascot, NSW. The role leads a team of Project Managers, Supervisors and installation professionals and drives safety, quality, customer satisfaction and operational performance across a portfolio of major projects across the state.

Key responsibilities

• Build a culture embracing safety, quality and excellence in project delivery.
• Lead and develop an operations team across NSW.
• Drive the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of installation projects.
• Support complex construction projects with Tier 1 builders and key customers.
• Partner with stakeholders on capacity planning, workforce allocation and resourcing.
• Manage project performance, including forecasting, productivity, financial outcomes and customer satisfaction.
• Work with leadership, Regional Directors and functional leaders, and identify ways to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure projects meet KONE's safety, quality and operational standards.

Required profile

• Demonstrated success in construction, project delivery or operations management.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related discipline.
• Proven people leadership experience and ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Experience managing project costs, revenue and operational performance.
• Experience in the lift, escalator, building services or construction industry is highly regarded.
• Applicants must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen, or a New Zealand citizen.
